Bannerghatta National Park is one of the wildlife parks in Bangalore which is visited by thousands of tourists each year, who come to see the varied collection of wildlife in the park. The park is a home to a large number of animals such as lions, tigers, leopards, sloth bears and elephants. This means that it also has other animals such as deer and monkeys too. Bengal tigers who live here are found in the Western Ghats which is also known as one of the greenest lungs on Earth.

Other animals found in this park include white-bellied sea eagles, waders, porbeagle and lesser florican etc. There are also many birds which are also seen here. These include peafowl, storks, cranes, pelicans and egrets.
