It is a very important place in Leh Ladakh, which attracts many international tourists. The place houses very old temples and the main attraction here is the Gurdwara. It was built in 1672 by Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, who preached peace to people. The Gurdwara is the most important place here and people from different religions visit this temple. Gurudwara Pathar Sahib is built in the memory of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, who sacrificed his life to save others. The place is named as Gurudwara Pathar Sahib in the memory of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and people visit it every year. The temple was built by Hukumnama Sukhdev Ji, who is one of the five sons of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, when the latter was on his way to Punjab.
