The ISKCON Temple Bangalore is one of the major temples in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This temple is the Bangalore District Head Quarters of ISKCON. This temple was established in 1997. Mission of The Temple 

The mission of this temple is to spread the Hare Krishna mantra, i.e. love of Krishna, in the Bangalore region. The temple is present at the Nalvadi Campus of ISKCON, a newly constructed campus that caters to all the spiritual needs of ISKCON devotees. The temple is built in an area of 160 meters and comprises of a sacred pond, two amorous gates (Nilamukha and Akrura), and a spacious main hall. The total number of worshipers at this temple are 250.

Architecture of ISKCON Temple

The architecture of this temple is based on Vaishnavism, which is the worship and philosophy of Lord Krishna. The temple has a spacious main hall and a Vyala mandapa. The main hall seats 500 devotees in four rows; the Vyala mandapa seats 50 who sit cross-legged in two rows. The walls and pillars are made of teak wood. The floor is covered with white marble tiles on which pictures of Lord Krishna are installed. A small room houses a statue of Sri Visnu. The temple has a sanctified pond, the Nilamukha jyothi, which houses a statue of Sri Visnu. The temple also has a cactus garden.
