The temple of Mansa Devi is one of the oldest temples in Haridwar. In the first century BC, this temple was founded by Hindu emperor Vikramaditya, son of Chandragupta Maurya. This temple is also known for its climate as it is located on the banks of the Ganges River.  which is an acceptable place for living. Then the ropeway takes you to the Mansa Devi Temple in just 5-6 minutes.
