Pushkar
Pushkar is a town in the Ajmer district, Rajasthan. This city has many interesting things to see and experience. It is famous for temples and its food. Pushkar is located in the North-Central state of India. It is located 3 kilometres from Ajmer on the New Delhi–Jaipur Highway. Pushkar is known as the city of Lake in which Brahma Temple, an ancient place of pilgrimage. The lake is fed by the springs falling from the nearby hills.

Pushkar town has a rich history and culture. One can see many temples, a large step well and a palace built by Rao Jodha Singh at the time when he was still alive. There are two important temples in the city- Brahma Temple, and Vishnu temple. this place is also a major tourist attraction and local business hub in the region.
Pushkar Festival
A famous festival celebrated in Pushkar is Kartik Poornima, in which a large number of devotees come to take a dip in the holy Pushkar Lake during Kartik Poornima & Chaitra Navratri. Brahma Temple, dedicated to Lord Brahma, is situated at the banks of the Lake. It is a small temple with only deities of Lord Brahma and Goddess Saraswati. At night, thousands of candles are lit in and around the temple.
