         Rangali is located in the north of Ari Atoll, including approximately 70 islands, with a total area covering 373 square kilometers and a population of around 1,300 people.   • Divedev

 Divedev is located in the south of Ari Atoll, with a population of around 400 people. Life here is simple and you will be able to check out its beautiful beaches, among others.

Fahunikulhu is located in the south of Ari Atoll, with a population of around 2300  people. This resort consists of 3 main islands. There’s also a check-in point for fast boats here, which means that it provides great connection to other destinations in  the area.

Many people wonder what is the best time to visit Maldives. However, there are many factors which determine when the best time for someone to visit Maldives will be, and it will vary from person-to-person depending on their own preferences and requirements. There are some general pros and cons of visiting in each season, which can give a good indication of whether a particular time will be more appropriate for certain people.

  • Summer months (April, May and June): If you are traveling to Maldives during the summer months, it is best to avoid travel during these times as there is heavy daily rainfall. In fact, it is not recommended to visit at all during this time as it can be dangerous due to the risk of landslides, and this can affect tourism negatively.
  • Autumn months(September, October and November): However, if you have time in autumn then it is a good idea, particularly if visiting Maafushi Atoll. October and November are known for having low rainfall, and in the case of Maafushi, some of the resorts will have their opening month in October.

  • Winter months(December, January, February and March): These months are the best if you are looking for an affordable honeymoon due to low season prices. However, the weather at this time can be quite rough so it is not advisable for people with back issues or for those who cannot stand heights when looking out to sea.March is also the end of the dry season, so during this month rainfall is less frequent than during December until March. Most of the islands in the northern atolls have their best weather during this time. This is the best time to visit Maldives.

The best time to visit Maldives is usually November to March. The temperature is the most comfortable around this time of the year. The waters are nice and clear during these months as well. As Maldives is relatively small, many of the islands experience similar temperatures and rainfall, so the general trends apply across all atolls. The difference in temperature between warm and cool water can be quite significant however (up to 8 degrees from January to April on Maafushi).Overall, the weather and temperatures are always comfortable during warm water season.
