Gedee Car Museum is located at the entrance to Coimbatore city’s Vinnagaram Shanthi Nagar area. The museum is notable for having the world’s second highest number of vintage cars in a single building after Ford’s Mini Museum in England. Currently the museum has a collection of 298 vintage cars, out of which 48 are running cars. The museum is the only one in South India to display restored antique cars dating back to the year 1903. The concept of Gedee Car Museum started in 2010. It was launched on 6 October 2015 by R. K. Suresh, District Collector and Vice President, Coimbatore Manufacturers Association (CMA).
