The best time to visit this place is in winter. The day walk route is popular among tourists and a morning walk here would be a great way to start the day. There are several waterfalls along the route but Dudhsagar Falls is much more spectacular as compared to other waterfalls in Goa and tourists love coming here during summer too.

2) Se Cathedral Church

Se Cathedral Church is a very important part of the history of Goa. It was built by the Portuguese in the 16th century, and many priests and nuns used to live in the church. It is also a very important part of Christian culture in South Goa. The church is a prime example of Italian colonial art and architecture, which was popular during that time. Thousands of tourists visit this church every year to see their wedding photos in the marriage hall and be blessed by the holy spirit before beginning a new journey together.

3) The St Xavier’S Church

The St Xavier’S Church is one of the more well-known churches in South Goa and is among the few churches in India with Catholic flavour. This church was built on a hill and has tremendous views of the Mandovi River and Vasco da Gama’s Statue. The stained glass windows are bars of green and yellow that are made from sea glass, which makes them glow in during the day. Visitors to the church can also admire these glass works of art at other parts of the church like the bell tower and the sacristy.

The St Xavier’s Church is one of the few places in Goa that was built by Christians and it was constructed in 1583, almost two years before Vasco da Gama set foot on India’s shores. This church has gone through many renovations, but it still retains its old-fashioned charm and is distinctive for its steeple that stands at a height of 60 feet.

The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and this is where he is worshipped as the protector of Tambdi Surla. The temple houses Shivalinga, a stone that was originally believed to be a Himalayan stone. The walls of the temple have several carvings and statues of Lord Shiva. There is a large fair held at the temple during the months of June, July and August each year. The fair is called ‘Shivaratri’ or ‘Kartik Mela’. Every year during this period, thousands of devotees from every corner of India travel to Tambdi Surla to pay their respects to Lord Shiva.

Shantadurga Temple is one of the many famed temples in south goa. Shantadurga is a very auspicious temple, which is used for worshiping different forms of Goddess Durga. This is one place where you can find the Goddess in her eight forms such as Bhavatarini, Uma Maheswari, Laxmi-Narayani and Swarna Shakti. The Shikhara at Shantadurga Temple has an impressive height of 72 feet. Even the Kirtanghar’s light rays spread over a span of about three hundred meters. In the morning and evening, you will get a beautiful view of the sunrays piercing the sky.

Naval Aviation Museum is a museum of aviation, located in Goa, India. This place is very famous place to visit in South Goa. The museum covers an area of 12000 sqft and exhibits a huge collection of aircrafts. It also has a special section for local history related to aviation and air force. The museum showcases over 100-plus aircrafts dating back its inception to the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. In fact, many of the aircrafts are flyable.

The museum is a one-stop shop for aviation enthusiasts and historians as it has a large collection of memorabilia and souvenirs dating back to 1940s. These displays include World War II vintage ammunition, uniforms and guns. One can also witness the rare photographs of naval pilots from the 1920s to 1940s era on display. The museum houses models of almost all aircrafts that were operated by the Indian Navy Air Arm.

It is also conveniently located near restaurants and clubs for nightlife and plenty of other activities, so you can easily go here, enjoy the beach, have some fun at night on the town, and then go home for a good rest.

Colva is a great beach for swimming and is conveniently located near restaurants, bars, and clubs. The beach is very popular for daily swimming and recreational activities. The water is clear and the sand is white. This beach is actually overlooked by many tourists, so you may have to wait in line in order to get a chair or a table.
