1) Upper Lake and Lower Lake

2) Van Vihar National Park

Van Vihar National Park is spread across an area of 15 hectares (38 acres) and lies at an elevation of 532 meters above sea level. Commonly known as Bagh willy, this national park is a popular place for tourists to see rare species of birds, animals and other fauna. With lush green hills, the national park looks quite beautiful even during the scorching summer months. One can spot over 250 species of birds, 26 species of mammals and 13 species of reptiles here. There are more than 200 small and large rock-cut caves, located deep inside the Vindhya Range and spread across an area of 2 km². They have been carved and modified by humans during the Paleolithic era (around 300,000 to 9500 BC). These caves were also used by Hindus during the stone age for performing rituals.

8) Lakshmi Narayan Temple

The Lakshmi Narayan Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. The temple was built in the 15th century by Maharaja Narasingh Deo. It is situated near the Upper Lake, at a distance of about 2 km from Taj-ul-Masjid . It has been built on an elevated platform and has a beautiful architecture. It is a two storied complex and has a splendid architecture. The mosque has minarets, which are thirty feet high and made of red sandstone, that are decorated with geometric designs. 11) Bhojpur Temple

Located on Bhojpur Road, in Bhopal, It is a Hindu temple and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The entrance of the temple has a large arch, which is decorated with beautifully carved marbles and decorated pillars. There are two separate sanctums at the entrance. One of them houses the sacred lingam while the other one houses a stone image of lord Shiva. The statue is 3.2 meters high and the lingam is 2 rem. The temple was built by the kings of Bhojpur in 904 AD.

Gohar Mahal is a palace situated in Old City, Bhopal. It was built by Nawab Siddiq Hasan Khan in 1720. The palace has been turned into a museum and houses some of the king’s collection of artworks and other collectibles . 13) Raisen Fort
