This beach has very good facilities and infrastructure like well placed ATM, restaurants, hotels, etc.

2) Kadri Sri Manjunatha Temple

Manjunatha temple is situated on the top of the hill, which is about a 10-minute climb from the main street. The temple is an important landmark in Mangalore. This place is full of rich history and a sacred place for Hindus. The main deity of this temple is Lord Manjunatha, which is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This temple’s three floors symbolizes the three worlds – heaven, earth and the underworld.

3) Kudroli Shree Gokarnanatheshwara Temple

It is a very good temple with a great history. It is an ancient and one of the most important temples of Mangalore city. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The water at this beach becomes very calm and it feels amazing while swimming here in summer days.

7) Tannirbhavi Beach

This is another beautiful beach in Mangalore. The water of this beach is very calm, clean and good for swimming. There is a sand-bar which is formed just outside the waters here, it provides a great place for sunbathing. The best time to visit this beach is during summers.

8) Sultan Bathery Beach

Sultan Bathery Beach is situated in the North-West Coast of Karnataka, India. It is about only one kilometer from Bejai Fort and a 15-minute drive from the city. The best time to visit this beach is during summers. This place has very calm water and nice sand-bar just outside the water’s edge. In this area one can see various types of birds including hornbills, cranes, herons and gulls etc., which are so beautiful and eye catching.

9) Mangaladevi Temple

It is a beautiful temple situated in the southern part of Mangalore. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Mangaladevi, which is an incarnation of Goddess Parvati. The architecture and design of this temple are really amazing and very attractive.

10) Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple

This temple is situated in the central part of Mangalore about 2 km from the beach. There are 2 temples in this temple. The main deity of this temple is Goddess Durga, which is another incarnation of Goddess Parvati. This place has many statues and idols, which are very attractive and beautiful.

11) Shri Sharavu Mahaganapathi Temple

This is a beautiful Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha, which is an incarnation of Lord Ganapati. This place is about 10 km from Mangalore city. The architecture of this temple is very attractive and unique. The temple has a Garuda (Eagle) statue in the entrance which provides great energy and positive vibes to the visitors.
