Alex’s Shack, North Goa
Another restaurant located not far from the beach, Alex’s Shack has a great food and service to match. It’s a casual place but the food is delicious; you can go for cheap lunch deals or even sit down to eat there now and again. There’s also wifi here, which is always a bonus!
Cafe Chocolatti, North Goa
This is a cute little café near the beach, overlooking the Arabian Sea. The desserts here are to die for, but the coffee and food are also great! The egg sandwiches are especially popular. On weekends there’s live music and dancing.
Venite, North Goa
A restaurant with a Mediterranean vibe, Venite is a great place to go for dinner. The service is particularly good and there’s also a lovely bar here, so it’s a good place to stop in for drinks as well as dinner. It’s also located conveniently close to the Anjuna flea market – go ahead and end your meal by strolling through the market and picking up some souvenirs.
Shimon Falafel, North Goa
Yes, we are talking about yet another restaurant located near the beach! But you’re in Goa for a reason – to enjoy the sun and sand. Falafel’s menu is huge; there are burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads and plenty more. The prices are very reasonable and so is the service.
Bomra’s, North Goa
This is a popular restaurant that features local Goan cuisine. However, the menu is not limited only to Goan dishes; there are also some international options like Indian and Italian. Meals start from under Rs 200 for two people with wine, which makes it a great place for budget travellers.
Piccola Roma, North Goa
It doesn’t take long to fall in love with this Italian restaurant. It’s a really small place, which makes it very cozy and quite intimate. The food is delicious and the service is great too. If you want to get out of the beach for a bit but still want to eat near the beach, then this is the perfect place for you.
Spice Mantraa, North Goa
What’s better than authentic Indian food? Authentic Indian food served in a unique, old-fashioned style. Spice Mantraa is situated just a few doors down from the Phoenix church – it’s an easy-to-miss location but the food is definitely worth the hunt.
