Indus Valley Civilization Museum

This museum houses a rare collection of Aryan and Buddhist archaeological artifacts from the Indus Valley civilization. The entire collection of this museum is divided into many departments including lapidary, woodwork, metal and textile department. The most interesting ones are the sculptures found in the Archaeological Department as they represent something very ancient yet charming. These sculptures portray religious symbols, natural creation and life story of Buddha. Other items found in this museum include coins, knives, gold ornaments and antiquated weapons.

Khardunglung

This is a hill station situated 2.5 km from Leh and 18 km from Zanskar. The beauty of Khardung La can be best seen on a clear day when the peaks in Tibet can be visible with the naked eye. The most attractive and attractive feature of this place is the view of glaciers, waterfalls and snow-capped peaks that can be see from the top of this hill. The various hotels and shops around the base of the hill are a good place to stay, eat and shop. Tourists can also visit the Singye Dzong (monastery) which is located on the way up to the hilltop. The Singye La trek begins from Khardung La top and ends near Diskit.

Konze La Pass

This is a lake at an altitude of over 10,000 ft. You can take pleasure in a boat ride around the lake and enjoy the picturesque view. The tourists can also enjoy horse riding and hiking or paragliding. This place has several hotels and guest houses providing food, drinking water and other amenities to the tourists. Around this area, there are several children’s playing areas.

Pangong Lake 

This place is located at an altitude of over 16,000 ft. The tourists can enjoy a pleasant ride in a boat in the lake. There are two roads to Pangong lake and one of them goes through Likir and the other goes through Thyangboche. The trail between Pangong lake and Thyangboche is popular among trekkers who like to reach their destination after several camping treks.
