Bus: You can also take a bus from Coimbatore, which is around 14.5 kilometers away, to reach Ooty.
Car: The best way to reach Ooty by road is by taking the NH-116 (which connects Mysore and Salem) and then turning onto National Highway-48A. It runs through Ooty, and one can easily find hotel bookings on the highway as well.
